Places that say Maximum speed 5MPH.

A. it's not enforceable in law, as its private property.

B. my car, in 1st pulling itself along using torque goes 8/9MPH

A clutch helps in that instance ;)

Going to a place where we do some work in the business park grounds of a stately home they have a 20mph limit. I stick to it but few do. Mind you a lot of people got letters stating stick to it or you're out and as they have a waiting list for buildings they're not gonna lose money

It may not be enforceable in law, but it's worth remembering that as it's on private property, the owners (or their representatives) can ask you to leave and they don't necessarily need a reason, but breaking any rules they have is a good one.

Of whether the 5mph rule is justified or not is another matter. We have a 5mph limit on the roads in our campus, but the grounds of the campus (including those roads) are open to the public, so we have a *lot* of pedestrians walking up and down the roads (which are not all paved). In our case, I would say the 5mph rule *is* justified.

The BBC Radio 5 Live referring the family that died as coming from Derry.

It is actually Londonderry to the English and pro English living in NI.

Derry is used by the anti English.

This is a basic description given by a friend who lives in NI

Myself is my moan today. Got an overdraft of £30 on my bank, and went about £15 into it. Normally I keep a close eye on it but I didn't during the last month and failed to notice so because of my own stupidity I have an overdraft usage fee for the first time ever.

Must learn from this.

Must speak to the bank as well, they'll probably let you of the fee if you do as it's the first time you've made such an oversight
