Seems to be a standard automated message when you ring the cancellation line. However don't go for it, you'll get better if you hang on and speak to someone.
The only advantage if the 6 month discount is that it doesn't seem to involve a new contract, which might suit some.

It looks good to me , no contract is the greatest pulling point as far as I am concerned. Every time I call , get all sorts gibbish just can't be bothered .

Interesting. Thanks! Not very well advertised tbh I hadn't seen anything about it.

Not sure I'll be able to do much for now as I'm on a discounted contract

I went for Big bundle + kids and a box @ £48. Obv that will go up in April 2024 by inflation + 3.x%

Still no notification here. With the deals people are getting I'm starting to wonder if the company's having second thoughts?

Inflation could (should?) be considerably lower next April

I called TalkTalk and they offered me 150mb BB (more than enough for us) + the Tv box for £28, cannot beat that so I’m off to TalkTalk.

I know a few who have them and have had no issues. Including my mother in law.

Would the likes of TalkTalk be able to use the Virgin Media line/s?

If you don’t have an active OpenReach connection a new ISP will have to install one (£30-£60 and a few weeks to schedule). Only Virgin uses Virgin lines
