Email was sent 3 days ago but I wouldn't hold my breath with the 3 weeks thing.

whats this email you got?
is this different than the original link in post #1?

Yeah, it was a "We’re sorry for the delay" email.

I wanted to be a part of this trial, but due to lack of activity on the forum and busy working long hours in the summer hadn't been on in a while so I missed the application deadline. Applied anyway, but predictably nothing back.

So I hope that once its released I can get one without the whole "whatever is on the van" problem.

I suspect that the new hardware will initially be a "premium" product. If you think about it, the modem has to reach beyond 8 downstream channels and if VM want to go fast, that's what's needed. i.e. the 100 meg tier certainly won't need one.

Atleast people on the lower tiers like myself and on the trial can keep using the modem after the trial ends.

Google Translate does a decent job of the PDF if you upload it to their site. I have uploaded it in English here for whomever fancies a browse.

Well to be fair, how many VM trials are you currently enrolled in?

Well lets just say more than this one but another one had said sorry we are delayed until further notice so I actually had wrongly assumed it was that one as I never heard any more after being selected for the BB hardware trial.

As to which manufacturer of the new modem/router - people need to clear their minds and remember that Virgin Media works with established names.

The last 4 hubs have been made by netgear, I'm going to go ahead and guess that the next one will be made by netgear as well.

The photo of the router in the .cz pdf is the same as the router we've seen with VM branding so it seems pretty likely.

Aha, this was the bit I was missing. Guess that confirms it's not DC3.1, but that was a long shot anyway.

I hope they change the bloody colour.

I have clicked on the UK version of the pdf file and I get the following error.

“Adobe Acrobat Reader DC could not open truac.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or damaged, for example it was sent as an email attachment and was not correctly decoded.”
I am using the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
Any ideas?
