Yes it's an excellent offer Harry, all Sky Sports in HD for equivalent of £22 per month for the season. It's actually cheaper than Sky so a big well done to VM from me 😃

I assume that this is to encourage take up of Sky Sports, which is relatively low on VM.

I'm surprised that one doesn't have to take out a new long contract to get the sports discount, as they are obviously using this as a way to keep customers following their loss of rights. They can hardly offer broadband free for two years on VM :D

I don't praise VM often as i'm a bitter and angry individual and I hate pretty much everything in life. But yes they often do good things. But i always want more as i'm greedy and petulent.

But i'm honest.

Well done to VM for offering such a great deal and fantastic price savings. It's a shame no-one is praising them, considering the abuse VM take on here for their price increases.

Totally agree with you Harry well done VM!

Sucks that they're doing this on a Monday night. I know people are gonna be looking forward to watching Raw for the first time in HD, but they'll have to wait another week.

Still. 5 Sky Sports channels in HD, plus BT Sports 1 and 2 in HD thrown in for free? Can't complain, can you?

You just did didn't you?! ;)

I think Paradox means the five channels are Sky Sports 1-4 and F1.

Here is that Sky Sports story again.

My Virgin insider told me this past weekend:

"I've also just been told the upcoming Sky Sports price increase, surprisingly its less than last year and doesn't affect every customer."

No price list was given

Possible £2.00 price rise? The bit I've highlighted bold is interesting though!

Sky recently increased the amount it charges Virgin Media for its channels, so the cost of the Sky Sports Collection and Sky Sports and Movies Collection is going up by £2 a month (although Virgin says this is less than Sky's £2.50 increase for the same packages). However, customers taking additional Sky channel packages will not be affected by the price rise, which comes into effect from September 1st.

Only thing I can think of is the HD pack, so maybe those with that will avoid the rise??.

Or maybe something else is in the pipeline as both MB and theone still have DNPs about something. Dare I say the A word! ;)
