If Rosberg wins the title because of the double points BS I might give 2015 season a miss.

Shock horror I would be EXTREMELY happy if that happened. But at least this season has gone pretty much to the wire.

Its only up to the wire thanks to Lewis Hamiltons 4 DNF.

Hamilton must finish second in last race to win the title.

IMHO NR doesn't deserve the title, totally out classed by LH

Yep, Nico will totally outperform Lewis in Dubai.

Re: Formula 1 2014 Season

Even today Lewis was fastest. His own mistake cost him 7seconds and the gap at the end was about 6 tenths. I just hope there aren't any mechanical issues in Abu Dhabi. If his car finishes the race Hamilton will be the World Champion for the second time, and Rosberg's best chance will be past him. And that would be the right result for the driver who has won the most races and would already be Champion if it weren't for mechanical failures and his teammate's cheating.

Pleased with Massa's podium today - I wasn't sure he still had that in him, but a bit gutted about Bottas in the other car. Still, 3rd is well on and would be a great result for a proper team.

Whatever happens in two weeks time this has been an incredible season - best for a long time. Interesting new formula, a break in the Red Bull dominance, excellent racing throughout the grid, the reemergence of Williams as a competitive force, the breakdown of the relationship between the Championship contenders, the cheating in Monaco, the pressure telling in Spa, the high of Marussia's first points thanks to Bianchi's opportunism in Monaco (has there been a better result ever), the low of his crash and the subsequent folding of Marussia, the bizarre goings on at Caterham, every race bar perhaps Sochi and maybe Austria being good, Bahrain and Canada in particular being amongst the best races of all time, and, best of all, a driver's championship that's going to the last race of the season in spite, not because, of double points.

All that and I took my boy to Silverstone for his first time.

Crisis? What crisis?

Alice Powell could make her F1 debut with Caterham at the season finale in Abu Dhabi

21-year-old's grandfather paying for practice outing; Powell isn't ruling out taking part in qualifying and race

Good news, hopefully he will have a better outcome than Schumacher. Although have a horrible feeling that both will be left in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives if they do come out of the coma completely.
