Unless you live in Fleet, in which case you get London instead of Meridian. Mind you, they give us BBC London instead of BBC South so I'm not too surprised.

Not true, Sky have shown Champions League games on Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports Xtra/4 for many seasons now.

not something a norwich city fan is going to have to worry about for a few years yet :D
are you going to get our goalkeeper back for next season??

but anyway to keep this thread on track i personally think that it will be a good thing in the long term selling of the channels and aquiring sky's HD channels, and i've heard that VM might be looking into taking ITV again anyone else heard this?

It's a fair cop. You get what ITV want you to get, which is not necessary the closest.

The Meridian service doesn't launch until next week. Until then the London service is being used in those regions.

thats true and normally it is the prime game that is on Sky sports 1 or 2 with the "other" matches on 3 and 4.

the SPL is usually shown on Sports 3 for example.

With people saying about sky giving up there usp they must be really confident because as of a few days ago you dont need the tv to get broadband and phone with sky now and know a few people who will be ditching sky tv for virgins tv just alone on yesterdays news.

Maybe, but previously the bigger games were shown on 1&2, meaning one of the big games will be unavailable in HD to Virgin customers.
