They are correct, the reason they cant reveal..... is the channels names aint readily available although some virgin staff do know but i doubt customer service maybe the managers

I asked customer service about a channel and they looked on the list and told me that the channel I enquired about is not in the pipeline. I then asked them what channels were coming and they said we can't reveal them.

Back in the days when the company was ntl they used to tell me if I asked and they were correct as well on a few occasions.

One of the best features IMO.
I'm guessing you were the one that implemented it, if so very big pat on the back, i'm well chuffed lol.

As for playlists, in the future, will there be a feature for cueing tracks?
Would be great as it could be the same as now where when you press it, it says program will start soon (or whatever it says) but before-hand a list is given, and the box will automatically find it?
I've probably made it complicated, but I'm sure you know what I mean :P

:D

Well.. I couldn't take the credit for it :D the cueing of tracks is something that the Team are working on..no date yet though... possibly when the TIVO software comes in?

its all nice for people on L TV that are getting extra channels for nothing but VM are not thinking that by moving all these channels to L TV package they are decreasing the value of the XL pack.

Sky dont mess about like this and if XL dont get soe new channels soon it may be worth looking at Sky or reducing to L TV pack as the gap between XL tv and L TV pack is getting smaller by the month.

XL tv has had loads of extras added over the last year or so... including HD channels... The packs are changing slightly to make room for more "premium" channels to go in to XL... the channels that are moveing to L are hardly worth worrying about! Sit tight my friend...lots of lovely stuff coming your way ;)

think about what you have and not what you haven't for now... XL tv is great value :)

How has XL been devalued?

by making channels available to other TV packages that were exclusive to the XL only package. this increases the value of the L TV package but at the devalue of the XL package.

its all fine and well people in the know saying there is new XL TV exclusive channels on the way but all us in the general public see is that channels we were getting on XL package as exclusive by paying extra for the XL pack are now being made available of no extra cost to L TV subcribers but we are still paying for less exclusive channel content.
we dont know that this is all being done to make way for new XL exclusive channels all we have to do is take your word for it as there is no official word from VM.

im not doubting you im just stating the opinion that the general public is getting.

As the channel changes were supposed to be company confidential until next week then you can't blame Virgin about not announcing any replacements

So are we going to get new channels announced soon, apart from the two +1 channels mentioned? The suspense is killing me. ;)

I'm getting a V+ box next month. Who's got one? What make are they and are you liking it?

I hope they do get more HD channels especially Sky Sports and movies. I've watched Prem football on ESPN HD around a mates house, looks awesome.

I love HD I got a Panny blu ray player and PS3 so I've experienced HD on my Toshiba LCD TV. So I'm looking forward to the V+ box.

My package will be £55 is that good, what do other peeps pay? Thats for XL TV no phone line, Sports and movies pack and V+ box. Also a £75 fee. I'm currently a VM customer.

My set up is Toshiba 46" LCD TV, Yamaha RXV 1900 Reciever, 7.1 speakers.
