It's a FREE upgrade, have some patience, it will come through in due course, this sort of thing has to be organised, they can't really just chuck 10meg configs at every modem in the country at once and expect there not to be problems!

If If If If  if they hadnt have announced it they would be able to market the product in its new form.

At the end of the day some people are paying and receiving up to 10Mb and others are paying the same and getting up to 4Mb. There is no reason why everyone couldn't be upgraded at the same time to ensure everyone gets the same service for the £'s they pay

Erm, you will find that most Infrastructure and Development projects/programmes eschew the "big bang" approach, as it is much riskier than a staged implementation.

I hit the traffic shaping limit for the first time today. I can confirm that the connection is restricted to 2.5Mbps, so it has been increased.

Upgraded in Swindon and a modem reboot was required. Did speed test and got 4Mb, rebooted, then did another and got 10Mb.

I've just re booted my modem in Lincoln and have gone from 4mbs to 9860kbps up and 491kbps down. So it looks like our area is upgraded.

I certainly seem to have been upgraded now , but at best I'm getting 5.5Mbps or so.That is both with a router in circuit and with a pc connected direct to the modem.
