FRENCH STAR IN BETTING SCANDAL!!!

Frank Ribery had McFadden to score and Scotland to win 0-1.

Unfortunately for him, bookies are refusing to pay out due to the state of his coupon.

Disgrace! :D

:redcard:

Anyway for those of you supporting the blue section of Glasgow football in case you don't know the game is on Sky One on Wednesday night.
Not much help for those on VM but might allow you to watch it at a mates house instead of the local pub.

Excuse me? Arsenal at the top of the league? Stranger things have happened I suppose. Each year some cheeky little upstart tops the league and has delusions of winning it til about November at which point they simply fade back in to mediocrity, so I fully expect nature to take its course this season too.

Any of these 'cheeky little upstarts' have Cesc Fabregas on the strength? Thought not. We're contenders, better get used to it.

Wow, not seen you round these here parts since oooooh, Arsenal last looked like winning something? Perenial contenders yes, actual title winners? No. Thankfully your team's brief blip as the possible major force in English football is safely behind us.

Arsenal are still a majorish force. Certainly a top 4 team.

Russ we will take at the end of the season, look at Manure's defence now...how many out for a long time?

also looking forward to a Manure vs Arsenal now...see what happens ;) as I think that Arsenal would wipe the Manure away :D

Maybe, But Arsenal have lost a lot of good players and they are being replaced. Arsenal have a very young team. Theres no reason the team cannot return to the levels of the team that had the unbeaten season. They just need more experience, last year was essentially a new team. This year they are doing better.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea all have a shot at the title. IMO.

Also the over-confident Spurs have started badly :erm: I think their confidence in their side were vastly over-the-top. They do not have a top 4 team, It's bizarre they were sure they did and are talking about sacking Jol because he struggles against the big four, of course he does! They are the top four! Spurs are not a team that should be challenging for the title. 5th place last year was a great job for them.

Unbeaten in the premiership, not an unbeaten season ;)

We're weak at left back but Rio and Vidic have never looked better.

Yes, because Arsenal beating United would mean the title going to Emirates. Like last season?

I predict a 3rd trophyless season for them.

Could well be, But it's a young, talented, team, and now a club with a better source of income. The futures bright! :)

I'll bet that 'better source of income' won't come from those empty seats in the stadium.

You tried getting a ticket for a Arsenal game? Not sure why those seats are empty but someone has sure paid for them
