Not impossible; Wuaki did acquire KnowHow Movies from Dixons and there has been other consolidation eg TalkTalk buying Blinkbox.
But VM and Vubiquity only signed a renewal deal on 21 September covering films and other services http://www.vubiquity.com/news/

Could be Wuaki buying vubiquity then? Or vubiquity buying Wuaki.

For a start Tivo isn't Android.

Google Play is on the Roku, why could it not appear on the eos box?

I think you and theone2k10 are talking about different things - you mean Google Play (music, films, tv, books) whilst he means the Play Store from Google which contains Android apps.

I did say never say never though about google movies service which is what you're on about?
If so you are indeed correct it is on roku and also accesable via a pc browser too so it could show up on vm tivo in the future.

Sorry, I was talking about the movie streaming side of things rather than the app store

Maybe it's being kept as a Sky exclusive until after the US election? (I know it's online too.)

It's not been put on Freesat either.

Is it available on Sky? If so, maybe you're right Andrew.

Other channels have been known to broadcast off the EPG for ages before being added though eg Hum Masala.
