Die Hard (DVD)

10/10

Yippee-ki-yay...kimosabe (in the words of the old ITV edit ;) )

An awesome action classic. Hard to believe it's over 20 years old now.

"Now I have a machine gun. Ho-ho-ho".

I quite liked Over the hedge...the hyper squirrel was fantastic.

Maybe "meh" was a bit harsh. It was OK, just not something I'd ever be bothered with watching ever again.

Sherlock Holmes. 8/10

Not perfect, but good fun. Robert Downey Jr plays Sherlock as almost psychopathic in his pursuit of the solution to the case (the extreme single mindedness required to do something regardless of the consequence to yourself or anyone else is mildly psychopathic). The three leads (Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel Mcadams) play their parts extremely well, the story is good as is everything else.

Documentary on the DVD about the situation in Burma was interesting, in a scary way!

Prambo? :disturbd:

Over the Hedge: Not bad, some good laughs. 7/10

Flushed Away: Hilarious in places [the slugs cracked me up :D], quite enjoyable. 7/10

Santa's Slay: Daft, but enjoyable. 6.5/10

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls: 7/10

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride: Loses a couple of points for all the singing, which IMO was completely unnecessary. 5/10

Happy Feet: Not bad, amusing in places. 6/10

Crocodile Dundee II: Still ejoyable. 7/10

The Dukes of Hazzard: Not as bad as I was expecting. 6.5/10

The Incredibles: 8/10

we started to watch Happy Feet, but got bored about 20 mins so watched the Pixar Incredibles spin off short Jack-Jack Attack, that was very funny, then watched Flushed Away we enjoyed that, would give it 7/10
