Brilliant, thanks for the info. All fingers crossed now.

Don't worry if it says you are called Phil at the end, it is happening to other people.

Is this the same draw as the one with the URN number, or different?

I got the email with the URN last night and filled that in and got the confirmation reply.

I also filled in the form from the link above and got a confirmation reply.

Does that mean I'm in two draws?

Any issues with the Parental Control/PIN issue that has been mentioned on other forums? (This could be a deal-breaker for me if you can't switch it off or at least make it less intrusive).

I had that at first, i.e. asking for a pin when switching to Sky News at 2pm in the afternoon :)

But after it was fully updated that disappeared.

If there is no guide data (i.e. after install) the TiVo box will pin protect channels by default.

You'll be disqualified if you've entered twice.

How have I entered twice? Where is the explanation to say this is the same draw; one requires number, one doesn't? If it's the same draw, what's the point of the number?

I'm not likley to win, and happy to pay for TIVO, but will be angry if VM's lack of clarity gets me disqulified from the draw.

Yay installer turned up.. but with only 1 Tivo. Now he's run off to find a second one :p

I could have bet money on that happening... OTOH the updates for the first one currently saying 'this could take up to an hour' so no loss I guess.

The way Virgin have communicated about tivo since late last year has been nothing short of shambolicness, theres no getting away from that as far as l am concerned, l am willing to pay the money for it but Virgin it seems cannot get anything to arrive on time it seems.

Well, one needed a URN to get further and one didn't; the forms were similar after that though but I don't think they were identical.

They handled mobile numbers differently; Mine is off most of the time so didn't want to give it as a contact. One form let it go through blank; the other needed 'N/A' in the box.

Should be ok, then.

I certainly hope you are joking - I registered interest twice then saw LINK FOR THE DRAW ON MY v+ Box which I followed and entered. If I have disqualified myself I will not be happy. (I'm VIP20 by the way)

and what if they SEND me a link and a code - do I submit that?
