Labour spokesmen says populist parties need to be stopped, does that mean labour is an unpopular party?

Re: Starmer’s chronicles

You are conflating two different meaning words…

"Populist" ≠ "Popular"

Ah, the old populist approach - "look at these urban elitists, using the correct meanings of words…" ;)

As Orwell said "doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words to manipulate perception and avoid accountability"

A populist can be unpopular (Trump). They do mean different things.

Re: Starmer’s chronicles

Who cares? Populist / schmopulist. As long as it’s not Starmer, Miliband or any other net-zeroist, things might get better.
