I suspect that this is in response to the recent agreement made between VM and STV, whereby STV HD will go on 103 on VM in STV areas.

The Do Not Post order will not arrive in 2018.

We have an "starting after" date for the DNP but we are sitting on reveal it. We have still to see the info online.

It might be. The new Sky contract with VM should be negotiated by summer 2019, and given Sky's previous comments that they will make SA available on all major TV platforms, I would envisage that we'll get it when the current contract comes to an end.

By then, my current VM contract will be up so I'll be weighing up renewal vs ditching VM and moving to NowTV for all my TV needs. Or Sky Q's internet-based service (cough, splutter)… ;)

It is just possible that Prime will be on our boxes by then, so something else for you to ponder!:)

Ha ha, I was waiting for you to pipe up, Max! I can't help agreeing with you. :D

I think the only channels worth looking at are Virgin Ultra HD (some good programmes on there), Love Nature and far behind that, Paramount. Not being a lover of sport, there is nowt else on any of those lists that interest me at all. Either they are channels showing constant repeats or the content is less than mediocre.

I would say that there is the occasional good new drama on the Drama channel, but the picture is very poor quality so I've given up on that. I can't see why they don't offer the channel in HD.

Well Virgin are up to something.

Project 1 and 2 are back duplicating Challenge and Sky Sports Golf, but there's also about 5MB/sec off the total bandwidth for the frequency introducing the possibility of truly hidden tests.

Obviously the low voting numbers are an indication of the interest in those channels.

Just proves what a load of dross is on TVs these days
