Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8

Thankfully, not tonsils. But a raging throat chest and ear infection. Amoxicillin 3 times a day for 7 days. And plantar fasciitis flared up again. So apologies, I am feeling sorry for myself today. :(

Trying to give a cat medication.

I came of worse lol. Scratched, bit and ended up in the minor injuries as I fell over and sprained my wrist and bruised my right hand as well!

Grrrrr

I wrap ours up in a large towel like a furry burrito. No scratching then.

Tried all that. He is a nervous timid cat so even petting him doesn't happen often.

Soon as I go near him more often than not he runs away. I try not to stress him too much as he also has a heart murmur which is currently a 2-3 on a scale of 6.

Its a joke mate, you need to turn the pages, anyway it sounds it might be one of those real life situations that turns out to be amusing to everyone but you, in time you'll look back and laugh

Don't think I will ever laugh about it. He needs this medication every so often as the illness reoccurs.

Feel bad now, can you crush it up and put it in his water?

Its not easy as I have two cats so even putting it in his food is a challenge cause when seperating them they get all edgy as if something is up.

Is it a tablet? Do either of them like cooked meat? A relative had a cat who would eat his thyroid meds wrapped in a piece of cooked chicken, and that was it. Twice a day that happened.

The other cat will eat anything and I mean anything, however the timid one won't touch anything you try to put down for him.

So straight to mouth is the only way to give him the tablet.

In other news, i've had sinus trouble since May last year!

had various anti biotics, nasal sprays and other drugs but the infection won't shift Now have a referal to an ENT specialist at end of March.

Constant dripping nose for months is drving me up the wall.

Never rains but it pours with me lol.

However I can already tell that I have developed nasal polyps and and hoping I won't need surgery to fix it.
