The difference between reality and the dream is goals.

Utter domination again and no scorers.

Just got home from the Theatre of Nightmares.

That was without doubt the worst United have played all season, complete and utter rubbish from start to finish.:(

If Burnley had scored from the two or three mad goalmouth scrambles it would have been well deserved.

As l say LVG will get away with it this season but if they play like this next season he might just be collecting his P45.

The stupid thing is he hasn't spent the last 13 or 14 years in the Premier League!

He is doing a good job at West Ham, in fairness.

Personally speaking, surprised Villa haven't been relegated before now.

Agree completely.

Looking at the fixtures and there is a useful fact for Arsenal which is they have +1 home game, 7 in total left to play in the league vs rivals chasing a top 4 finish whom have 6. It could prove to be vital.

having said that remaining comps clubs chasing a top 4 finish are in...

Man Utd - PL and FA Cup
Southampton - PL
Arsenal - PL, CL and FA Cup
Tottenham - PL and EL
Liverpool - PL, EL and FA Cup

Southampton do look in a good position with week long preparations. I reckon they could do it. I question Man Utd and Arsenal if they progress in the CL although progression in the CL could fire them up even more. Tottenham and Liverpool will no doubt apply pressure.

Man Utd and Arsenal will get those remaining CL spots bud.

Well after the rubbish I watched at Old Trafford on Wednesday I thought I would pop down to Boundary Park. The Latics have been playing well recently. They have dropped the entrance fee to £5 and have their best crowd by far this season and they are playing utter tripe against a bottom four team. I may not make it to full time. :( At least the pie's are much better than United's, last season they had Hollands which are good but the Peters pies this season are poor.

Normal service resumed!

I can't be too upset at going out of a competition we were realistically never going to win, but I am a little disappointed with the performance. Yet to be thoroughly convinced by Pardew.

Torn about tomorrow, as on the one hand if Arsenal win they have a great chance of winning silverware. But staying in the cup means they have more games to play so no chance of a title challenge and maybe even a lack of Top 4 finish.

But then if they lose they have more time to focus on the league.
