Madrid were the better team but Barcelona did enough to get the result over the two legs. Ramos was wrongly sent off but that was right at the end whereas Pepe should have been sent off in the first leg and Diarra was pushing his luck as well.

Madrid must be getting depressed they can't beat Barcelona even after playing so well and Barcelona playing poorly.

My personnel feelings on the sad demise of football clubs and new owners taking over clubs, such as Portsmouth.

Its the disgraceful wages that are paid to players, and when owners take over they forget this.

Players may only have short careers especially when the end of with broken legs that sometimes don't heel properly and have to retire early, BUT no players is worth the prices they earn today, and the agent fees cripple clubs.

The FA,the Football League, and the Premier League must place a wage cap on clubs, as players from the lower leagues don't live up to the wages that are paid by clubs and get put on the side.

Players like John Terry who is on £125.000 per week, that could be the entire wage for a club from the lower leagues.

This is why clubs go out of business, and new owners take over clubs to see how much they can get back in about 12 months to see if they can get a massive profit..

If there was a UK only wage cap, then our players would be bought by European clubs!

Years ago, players were on a decent wage, but now the wages have gone through the roof, and clubs can no longer afford the greed of players, Spurs have a wage cap, and they still produce great players.

This is time of financial problems the fans cannot afford to go to games anymore due to the entrance fee, and this why clubs are suffering financially, like the other day l was watching Birmingham were playing and the ground was half empty.

The heavy prices that we pay for Sky and VM for packages etc mean that clubs do suffer.

The Big Clubs of England (wiht other Big Clubs in Europe) should leave the Premier League and form a European Super League

Then the Premier and football Leagues would no longer compete with major clubs, and wages and ticket prices to a more sensible level!

Good idea. That way all those smaller clubs that rely on FA Cup games against bigger clubs for valuable tv income just to survive can just shove off and find the money somewhere else. Cheeky blighters.

I was talking about clubs like the Big 6 (Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool), Not clubs like Newcastle, Sunderland, Aston Villa etc

The big clubs are what brings in the money, especially from International broadcasters, if they left then the rest would lose out. It's why there is a collective bargaining agreement.

Yet their presence in the Premierv leagues is the casue of huge wages and financial ruin of most clubs in their battle to compete with the big 6

How bad can it get?

Portsmouth have got bust twice and have has 5 owners in just 4 years!

Imagine how big a diffrence it will make if the old firm left the SPL!

Then smaller teams like Newcastle can have a decent chance at the Premier League without going bust!

l think you will find that Newcastle are not a small team and have the second biggest crowds in the premiership.

Sorry Newcastle is a member of the big 7

If the big 7 left the Premier League, then it give a chance to teams like Aston Villa to win the title without going bust
