Very true Damien but the referee gave it and l for one won't be filing a report about the referee decision to the FA.:)

the refs have all got worse since they went pro all useless

is it the refs or do the players just cheat, dive, con and ask for decisions they know are wrong that the refs job is now impossible.

Madrid got it to 2-2 on the night and lost 4-3 over the two legs. Madrid were by far the better team tonight, but more poor refereeing cost them. Ramos was wrongly sent off and they had a perfectly good goal disallowed amongst other decisions.

Well there are several reasons for that like certain owners who are in football for short term financial gains but one of the main reasons is that many clubs live beyond their financial means and pay fees and salarys which they can't really afford to start with but pay out in the hope of bringing success to the club but when this fails then they find that the financial rewards which their plan was based upon then fails totally with it thus they are then left to pick up the financial mess when things go wrong.
