Season 3 is also the last so should be a great send off for Picard.

Yes, but it was only today they announced who would be in it as guest stars. They'd kept it under wraps until now.

Well I guess that means he fixes the timeline in Season 2. :D

Re: Star Trek: Picard

What's made me curious is when they are planning to release it because it is the first time i have ever seen a series/season promoted half way through the previous season. I could understand them teasing us as soon as season 2 finished but we are only half way through. They have finished filming season 3 so it may be sooner than we think....

It'll be next year. They also teasing Strange New Worlds S2 and we don't even have S1 yet.

His body is, but it behaves like a real body.

"Some transplants, how many"
"all of them"
And then the equipment went sparky sparky

His body is artificial but designed to mimic biological life as closely as possible. It started as a ‘golem’, a lifeless template which was then finished by reference to deep scans of the dying body it was to replace. Picard has had, more or less, a whole body transplant, as was alluded to in the dialogue this week.

Remember we had 7 complete seasons to learn exactly what Soong had achieved with Data, Lore and Juliana, and that was achieved through multiple episodes devoted to the topic. We’re never going to get quite that level of in-universe exposition in Picard.

I was really hoping he was from the Relativity and had come back to help

Re: Star Trek: Picard

That may well be the best hour of Star Trek I have ever watched. At first I thought, is that Dr Bashir? I recognised him but couldn’t place him, then obviously..that’s who he is! (actor wise).

Some call backs….l’m from Iowa, I only work in outer space…..for example.

Great stuff.
