3 years ago today Ronnie announced he wanted to leave United, today it looks like RDM is staying with Chelsea, not good. Although if we get Laudrup it would help raise the club's profile a bit.

Modric, Van Der Vaart.. no chance of Bale signing a new contract

I think Vertonghen might end up having to rethink whether he wants a first XI spot at a club looking likely to be without stars and may be even 'arry

Although Modric is likely to leave l expect the others to stay and l still expect Vertonghen to join then in a few weeks.

Premier League rights go unsold in first round of bids.

Quote:

Rumours abound that the Domestic Live Premier League Rights Go Unsold in First Round of Bidding and also Sportcal now reporting that Al Jazeera did indeed bid for Premier League rights in the opening round.
.

Reports starting to come through that the Premier League has rejected all 1st round bids for UK rights to the Premier League as inadequate. A 2nd round of bidding will now take place.

Arsenal signing of Yann M'Vila effectively confirmed by statement from Rennes on French Stock Exchange. So that's Podolski, M'Vila and Giroud, all heading for the Emirates. If anything can persuade Robin Van Persie to stay at the club, surely these statements of intent will. Three big and important signings, which will surely please Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal fans. Major contrast to last summer when it was all about exits. Onus now on RVP to clarify his position.

Rennes aren't a public company?

Apparently if the transfer is over £10m it has to be listed on the French stock exchange.

But they aren't a public company so they aren't on the Stock Exchange. It's Twitter spreading lies again ;)

They're owned by a guy called Francois Pinault.

Yes l have just seen the tweets but there still seems to be widespread confidence that he will still join Arsenal after Euro 2012.:)

Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Thus is the summer transfer windows. M'Vila has 'almost joined' several times already according to the rumours. We're in the same position as yesterday, nothing new on that front for now.
