It would seem that Hamilton is staying with Mclaren and Webber has signed a contract for next year with Red Bull. Did you see the feature on the ECU for the 2014 engine? A 2.7 turbocharged V6. In the mid 1980's they could get 1500 bhp from a 1500cc in qualifying trim and 1200 for the race. I imagine that they'll enforce massive restrictions on the new lump. The current 2.4 V8 is producing 750 bhp with no forced induction (although KERS gives an extra 80 briefly). My best friend has a Prodrive Subaru Impreza with 315 ponies, that's quite quick! He won't let me drive it though :(

Interesting little story unfolding

Red Bull are under investigation for illegal engine mapping and could be forced to start the German Grand Prix from the back of the grid.

The world champions have been reported to the stewards for contravening rules forbidding teams from using exhaust gases for aerodynamic effect.

The winner of the German GP is Fernando Alonso. 2nd is Sebastian Vettel and 3rd is Jenson Button

It shows how rubbish either Hamilton or the McLaren car is when even the HRT cars can complete a race but Hamilton can't. If he wasn't a local, I wouldn't even care about him. And I'm gutted Alonso won as well. Wish he could have an accident that keeps him out for 3 or 4 races and let others overtake him at the top.

Apparently Vettel is under investigation for an overtake on Button, he'll probably get away with it.

The car was damaged thats why it was a DNF. I still think HRT need to leave F1. It is a shame Alonso won and would have been great if he brakes his legs at some point soon that means he cant finish the season.
