Oh don't get me wrong there will be a lot of fans going down but nothing even remotely like the 150k+ last time.

I wasn't down there for the UEFA final but I know a lot of people who were and they were disgusted by the amount of knuckle draggers who went down with the express intention of getting absolutely out their faces. That said the authorities could have dealt with matters far better than they did, the minute a British side got into the final there was always going to be a massive influx of people to watch it.

The Spurs group is interesting. Hard. But doable by Spurs. Especially if Inter fall off the pace a bit.

Spurs in Champions League, City is UEFA. Blessing if you go out (as long as the team doesn't all apart)

Bargain, I hope they fine him his last 2 weeks wages and don't give him a pay of though, mind you they did promise to sell him I guess

Liverpool have sold midfielder Javier Mascherano to Barcelona for about £17.25m, BBC Sport understands.

UEFA Super Cup

Inter v Atl. Madrid

After the [clean sweep] of player awards I'm wondering if they are still the same with Rafa Benitez at the helm.

Roughly 6 minutes left of stoppage time and Atletico are up by 2 goals

Inter Milan 0 - 2 Atletico Madrid

YES!

Blackburn away, a game Arsenal really hate. I really was expected a draw at best! So pleased to have won all three points :D

AC Milan have reached an agreement to take striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on loan from Barcelona for the rest of the season. The Rossoneri will then have the option to buy the Sweden forward for £19.7m. (Various)

How much did they pay for him, £60 million and Etto wasn't it, worst deal ever...

Be interesting to see if Spurs play a strong team or their youngsters now they are in the Champions League and are chasing a top 4 finish again.

Speaking of Spurs, Redknapp was a little upset with a Sky reporter after the Wigan debacle.

£8m for Van Der Vaart?!? Where the hell did that one come from?

Levy is a hell of a business man. £1.5m for Krancjar? £8m for Van der Vaart? Next window £15m for Christiano Ronaldo. You've heard it here first.
