Yep, I agree, it should add a little excitement. But there will always be those that will moan about it.

Carlos Tevez last night insisted he knew nothing about a reported two-year loan move to Manchester United. The West Ham and Argentina forward, who is on international duty at the Copa America, said: "I don't know anything. I'm focused on the Copa America and don't want to think about anything else."
Getting fed up with all these conflicting reports?

I am, so as previously posted, I will wait for the relevant clubs to make the announcements, if any :tu:

I believe that it would stop a lot of arguments and make the game a bit fairer.

Avram was appointed on the Chelski board Avram is from the same Russian-Israeli mafia that run Portsmouth. Did you know that only Redknapp and Storrie do not have an Israeli passport at Portsmouth? link

With Avram Grant on the helm, given the arms dealing of the father of the Portsmouth's Chairman, and Pini in the background, if I was Jose Murinio, I would invest in some Polonium detecting equipment asap.

Now Sky and Setanta have started their advertising campaign, is anyone going to pay the Setanta subscription to get their offerings for next season?
Jim.

According to this it's £15 per month on Virgin media and only £9.99 on Sky http://gb.setanta.tv/gbgetsetantasports.htm

I think i'll just watch the games on Setanta down the pub.

Dundee have revealed that they turned down new Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster when he wanted to become boss at Dens Park in 2000. (Daily Record)

When you consider his reputation, even then, I wonder why they didn't want him?

Jose must be shaking in his Loafers...

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United will be under pressure to succeed this season after a big-spending summer.

Mourinho has been cautious, while United have spent around £50m. He said: "Manchester United's spending is something that we don't control, we don't want to control - we don't comment, we don't want to comment.
Odd that he has commented though

Just a bit of news about Tevez from the United website.....(No he hasn't signed yet).

Quote:

Gabriel Heinze admits he encouraged Carlos Tevez to choose United, despite interest in the striker from a host of top European clubs.

And although the 23-year-old's transfer has hit a snag, media reports today suggest the deal may be completed by the weekend.

Heinze, who is currently playing alongside Tevez for Argentina in the Copa America competition, told Icons.com he has held detailed discussions with the West Ham player about life at Old Trafford.

"I told him that he is going to receive a lot of help to make progress," Heinze said. "It is a team that gives you a lot of prestige, both personal and professional. And he is going there at the right time. He is 23 years old so what else could he ask for?
But as far as Heinze is concerned.....

Quote:

"I still don't know what I am going to do," Heinze admitted. "I'm going to start thinking about that after the Copa America. The interest in me from important teams such as Liverpool,:disturbd: Juventus and Real Madrid makes me feel proud, but I feel very comfortable in Manchester and I'm grateful for everything I've experienced there."
On a personal note, I hope Heinze stays put.
