ok I wrote that letter saying that someone could have gained an unauthorized access to my network and that there was more than just one computer with internet connection at the time when this alleged thing happened..

I'm gonna send it tomorrow so it would be nice if anyone has any more ideas? I can send my letter if anyone wants to have a look by PM.

It's up to the owner of the network / PC to make sure it's secure, so that excuse won't wash.

well yeah.. you're right.. but all I can do is just using WEP key given by my ISP and using adsl filter.. if hardware isn't secure enough I can't do anything about it can I?

exactly the same here.. 505pounds for one song of Scooter. But well.. i'm gonna try to send this letter and see if it helps. If not then I won't have a choice just to pay the ba...... this amount. will give them nice present for christmas :/

you would not goto prison. You will end up in county court with a CCJ and if you stlll rrefuse to pay the court bailiffs will be round and take your stuff. Oh btw county court bailiffs can force entry iirc

My LandLord has a friend who's a solicitor so I'm gonna talk to him. For now I'm waiting for response from Davenport about what I wrote in my letter.. if they reply

My guess is they won't reply, they'll want as many people as possible to pay up with the least amount of trouble.
