Not sure if there is any truth in what i was told by a VM guy who came to change my box yesterday.

but he said there will be a new Tivo box but it wont need a smart card and that the reason why they are stopping the cards is because the company that makes the cards have gone under.

how much of that was true im not sure.

Hmmm ....

Nagravision has been adopted all over the world. I think you can safely take the claim that it has gone under with a very large pinch of salt!

I was at the Virgin stand at the ideal home exhibition in Glasgow. There the rep on the stand said a new Tivo box was coming out at the end of the year to enable 4K.

Why, oh why do we the customer get ripped off by companies dealing in sports.

BT Sport are a disgrace, they know that silly fans will pay this sort of money. So why don't greedy clubs reduce entrance fees to the ground, for fans to attend

If BT Sport want to waist money, that's there problem. But WHY make he fans pay

Because most will continue to do so.

They don't care about fans or fairness, they just care about maximising profit.

If the fans are stupid enough to pay it why blame the companies when they maximise their returns?
