Yes is the answer but not as much as the customers who had their prices frozen two years ago unless you were one of them and then it will rise by l think £1.50 a month.

Good point but Netflix did make this clear via a email they sent out, but you are correct many won't realise as let's be honest how many of us keep 2 year old emails?
Imo Netflix should of sent out a reminder email last week or something.

I currently pay £6.99 a month so is my price going up or not? :)

Yes, to £7.49, in May.

Yup, mine will go up by £1.50. Still pretty good value for £7.49 currently though.

Anyone who signed up to Netflix when it launched in the UK would have benefited from what is now the Standard package for £5.99 per month, a price most will still be paying as a 'thank you' to the original customers.

This will soon be ending, as Netflix said the £5.99 legacy pricing will be rising to the current £7.49 that a new member would pay, a £1.50 increase.

At the moment Netflix offers three options in the UK, Basic, Standard, and Premium. The first, at £5.99 per month, allows users to log in on only one screen at a time, and only offers standard definition picture quality.

Standard, at £7.49 per month, gets HD content up to 1080p, and access on two screens at once.

The Premium bundle bumps up to 4K quality and allows up to four screens to be logged in at the same time, £8.99.

When does the increase come into effect? I might need to think about cancelling it.

Vodafone offer and they messed up my account, had 3 phone numbers in a 2 week period.. so took advantage of that and applied the 12 months free offer 3 times!
