Nigel Twiston-Davies believes The New One's acceleration could prove to be a key factor in the Stan James Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.

At a press day at his Naunton stables, Twiston-Davies pointed out that his stable star had covered the last furlongs faster than Champion Hurdle winner Hurricane Fly when landing the Neptune Management Investment Novice's Hurdle at last year's Festival.
