They made a pledge to offer more HD inclusive earlier this year, so I can't see them stopping the XL inclusive HD. The price rise will help fund them too .

I think customer expectations should take into account how VM market non premium HD, it is simply unrealistic to expect VM to try and mirror Sky's HD offer. VM have chosen their model and in one way it is great, but you get what you pay for.

ESPNA HD is a great example, that particular channel has such a small reach, typically 0.1 - 0.2% that it would be crazy for it to be offered on anything other than as part of stand alone premium basis as on Sky.

VM might have a pay structure for any channels they - might be able to afford - but who will end up paying for them - US.

Of course.

Last time I checked, Sky charge their customers for HD too.

I appreciate thats how you feel. The new financial year starts soon, so we should start to see more launches. :)

And man will get to mars before Virgin do anything or launch any new channels.

Apart from the load of new HD channels they announced last year you mean:rolleyes:

If you're THAT unhappy and can make the choice then do!

There is, frankly, a load of crap on Sky. Why the need for HD crap?

I didn't suggest otherwise, What i AM suggesting is that to say we never get this and we'll never get that, is utter nonsense.

I'm no VM fanboy and Ive criticised them in the past but people like denphone seem never seem to post any positives about VM, just (innacurate) moaning, drivel.

I firmly believe Denphone is an employee of SKY who is on here to cause unrest and disruption with his bleak outlook. If he's not an employee of SKY, does anyone know where he lives? Someone really needs to go round to his house and remove all sharp objects and the laces from his shoes before he does harm to himself. If he is so downbeat about something a simple as television, God knows how he deals with life’s bigger issues i.e. burning his toast or missing a bus?

All jokes aside, here's the Samaritans number if you need it Denphone:

I hate seeing people in distress suffer

Personally, I'm confident that VM offers a very good service and is the best value and option for me. So, people coming on here being critical of VM doesn't bother me. In fact it's good to have people pointing out the VM weak spots.

Maybe you guys don't feel as confident about the good service VM offers?
