First of all they had few bids, only one was from Turkey and they might be holding the Olympics then which would stop them from hosting the Euros. Additionally no one wants to incur the entire cost of bring the competition to their country - hence the low amount of interest so far. Finally it let's more of Europe go to a game as there will be one in their own country or near one of them. It's also likely we'll get the final. |
