Just finished a homemade chicken curry loaded with tomatoes, peppers and spices. I never follow recipes when I'm cooking like this and added quite a lot extra garlic, cumin seeds and ginger to the pot I must say the result was delicious.

I follow a recipe if it's something new. But once I'm happy with it then the recipe must only be considered a guide. Often the amounts of seasonings are IMO on the bland side. More garlic, more chilli. :)

Of course the only problem with our approach is that when you come up with something truly spectacular that involves more than a few ingredients it's almost impossible to repeat it... :dozey:

Just going to have Homemade veg soup & Potatoes and steak Pie. I only make plain cooking and some of the things you all eat I have not a clue what they taste like. I have never tasted any thing with Curry, or Chinese food or Japanese Dishes or Italian, I might be missing out but I just never fancied them.
