I'm confused about DNPs lol

Are they only removed once they have been made public knowledge?
The news about the media store came out before Friday, didn't it?

Not your fault mate, I understand.

Not really, it has always been called PPV Slate.

The ITV Box Office stream is offline. Hmm...
Nothing unusual there. NVOD PPV Event service PMT & Elementary Streams (video, audio etc.) are usually removed when not in use. The SD NVOD PPV Event services, SID 713 - Sky Events & SID 2009 - Prime Events are also inactive at the moment. (They all remain in the NIT and SDT for future use.)

I'm not calling anything unusual. As you are well aware these things change ahead of PPV events. Any indication of how Virgin are handling the fight would be interesting though.

If any boxing fans are interested I'm team #GGG.

Of course, they change ahead of PPV events in so far as the elementary streams of individual services are activated for the duration of the event. I was simply stating that it is normal for services "not currently in use" to have their ES streams removed. CITV ES streams are removed each evening for example. Also the Hidden BT HD ES streams are currently inactive but are left defined in the NIT / SDT tables for future use.

VM pretty much use the PPV NVOD services as they see fit for each event. The defined services are basically "PPV Event SD 1", "PPV Event SD 2" and "PPV Event HD". As you already know, the SDT defined names of "Sky Events", "Prime Events" and "ITV PPV HD" are largely meaningless as they can be used for any PPV Event.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)

Recent changes to Virgin Media services:

TSID 15 SID 1517 "Xrated Couples" has been replaced by "TVXPornstars" although the slate on EPG channel 975 is still showing the "Oops! We are currently experiencing difficulties..." message.

TSID 15 SID 1503 "RedHot XXX" the actual NVOD PPN service associated with the above channel has also been replaced by "TVXPornstars". (The service name wasn't updated for this NVOD channel at the last change of service.)

The SDT has been changed to remove the overnight "Channel Off Air" slate from channel 724 "Disney Channel". Disney Channel & Disney Channel +1 are now operating a 24/7 service. (Disney Channel +1 didn't use the Off Air Slate).

Good material, but very expensive. However, if they are normal commercial prices, I guess we can't expect any more - Virgin cannot provide these shows at a loss.

True upto a point, but surely that should be included in what some might call "standard growth"? The mobile networks are generally limited to inflation-% rises.
