There are two 50Hz settings aren't there?

(unless MS has combined them)

One in display settings, which is for DVDs etc.

And another in the TV & OneGuide settings, which is for the HDMI passthrough.

Yes, the reboot seemed to do the trick although it appeared to stutter a little just once earlier. I'll be keeping an eye it for now.

Bunch of animals!

I love having EA access its been so good already after only a week. UFC and Battlefield 4.

Bought Tomb Raider for £16 on the marketplace, Lara never looked so good!

However with Christmas and so many games I am now at 82% full on the HDD. Think I will HAVE to invest in an external drive ASAP. Don't get disc games still having to install over 40Gb to the drive when I still have to insert the disc.

Guess its left over from their original DRM plans and not requiring the disc.

I have a spare 500GB HD, I'm guessing I just plug it in to one of the USB ports if I wanted to use it as extra storage?

The 50Hz TV passthrough was the first, then MS added the one for DVDs etc. Not sure if it's still two separate options, or if they've been rolled into one.

I think it needs to be USB3 then just plug it in and it will format in seconds, then asks what you plan to use it for.

Sweet, although sadly I might need to wait till end of January to purchase it once funds allow.

Means I may need to complete wolfenstein ASAP so I can delete it and free up space.

How do I control my tv's sound with the Xbox remote? When I try to set it up it goes on about the Kinect - do I need one to set up the remote?

The Xbox One remote works via the kinect sensor I believe, if you have one.

That's a shame - I didn't get a Kinect.

I've had a go of Need For Speed, is it online-only? I prefer to play against AI than other players.

You can turn off the online part in the settings when in a race, not sure where though.
