Re: Football Season 2011/12
P-a-p-i-s-s Demba Cisse has undergone a medical at Newcastle with a fee set at about £10 million
Two Senegalese strikers both with a hint of Demba ;) Problem is that Pardew clearly stated he had no intention of buying a striker but all of a sudden has went and don't the opposite. Got that awful feeling Demba Ba is on his way out. Swear filter blocks his name |

Senegalese and frenchmen, meet cold weather and pies.
I'm guessing its an incentive for Ba to stay as well as a backup plan incase he goes. Hope its pays off though, can't remember the last big bucks signing that was any good. |

Edit: Demba has now signed. Confirmed from source inside the club but strangely no news outlet has reported it yet. Second Edit: BBC finally caught up :P |

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Any room in this thread for a lower league supporter, not a Premier League fan at all.
I support my local team Stevenage, and also AFC Wimbledon as a friend of a relative has a son who plays for them. |
Re: Football Season 2011/12
of course friendly neighbour :) hows Chuks Aneke getting on?

Re: Football Season 2011/12
From what I've seen on highlights show and the local paper he seems to be doing quite well. Can't afford to go and watch the team play, which is a shame as I would love to watch them.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
good stuff. just had a look at your ticket prices, for adults its around 20£ would of thought it'd be a little cheap. then again its a lot cheaper than Arsenal
