I have asked Virgin Media on twitter about this. Could this be part of the idea to migrate everyone over Tivo ?

How do know Sky Premium HD won't be free with tivo. I think we will have to wait till Thursday 29th September when they are new offers.
Have you looked at the screenshot ? http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/8...adbandpack.png
I am not the first people to be told this. Someone else was told by Emma

Having browsed the forum for many many months, I was forced to join to make use of the really useful "ignore" function, but there appears to be no escaping the repeated posts as they are either "quoted" by other members or you end up with a page of:

"This message is hidden because xxxxxxxxxxx is on your ignore list."

I have liked browsing and getting information from this forum up until the last few weeks, where someones posts has bordered on complete spamming, repeating everything he or anyone else says, questioning Media Boy on typing errors or information or repeating several questions over and over again.

Rather than tell members to use the ignore function, can a warning not be given to the spammer....half of the information mentioned is not factual or backed up from key sources like MBs or it is always argumentative from the poster in question or what he would really really like (and now that Sky Movies Classics HD is launching, its something else he wants - christ there is only so many hours in day to watch TV and I think a few hundred channels is enough at the moment...).

Also - isnt Sky Movies Classic - just going to upscale classic movies that were not filmed in HD - which the TiVo or some TVs do anyway.....so whats the fascination in having a Classic HD channel????

Sorry to rant, and I didnt join to actually post much, but basically this is a goodbye totally (no more browsing from me on here) as I am getting fed up of having to browse about 20 pages now to get some useful information on what is coming soon.

Thanks for your many months of information Media Boy.

Andy.

PS - to keep this on topic, my TiVo has reset twice this evening....is it a sign of attempted updates??? perhaps I might have a channel 890, 891, 892, 893 appear....

:) ;)

Good bye.

Dhansak, you should not let one member's annoying personality force you to leave our community - however at the end of the day, it is your choice.

Ignore function invoked, shame you cannot do it in real life:D
