WOW!...I did hear they were releasing a Ultra HD box to go with it....How long until VM and Sky follow suit??

I did hear rumours of a 4K tivo, but I don't think it was specifially for the football.

Why have they rebranded espn as "BT sport espn". Is there a particular reason?

With the exception of PPV movies I doubt VM would have much to show.

So do that mean if you already subscribe to BT Sports on Sky you'll get the CL included and the £5 is for the standalone BT Europe channel for people who don't already pay the £12/£15?

If i understand it right? If true then that is pretty good.

Well it looks like we will have wait until the last moment again on Virgin before we know where we are but my hunch is Virgin and BT will do a deal.

That doesn't seem right?? Sky customers get it free but BTs own customers have to pay??

One suspects there might be a sting in the tail somewhere even though we are not Sky Customers.

It's because if you sub to BT Sport on Sky without BT Broadband it's £13.50 or £16.50 with HD as opposed to BT Broadband subs who get SD free or pay £3 for HD.

I would imagine the £5p/m for bt sport europe will apply to plusnet customers too in time, vm are going to have to pull something out of the hat here as i can't see bt agreeing to it being in xl pack they might offer it at a reduced rate for xl customers but i feel it will be £5p/m extra.

any deal agreed with Virgin won't get announced until August. BT will want to ensure they get maximum migration before then.

That sounds more like it, have BT TV and Infinity and you get all their sports channels for nothing.
