VM have told me via the medium of "X" that it is their "information... that the channel [Sky One] is going to be available to V6 users".

It's a renaming of Sky Max, with Sky Showcase channel removed - programming like The Day Of the Jackal , Gangs Of London & The Gilded Age are still available On Demand until 31st March....

Anyone know if this is coming to Virgin and, if so, will it be free?

Reportedly Sky Cinema Animation will be getting merged back into Sky Cinema Family soon, so guess it replaces that, Sky Cinema Animation also moves from 412 to 405 on Tuesday.

Sky Max moves to 109 on Tuesday and renamed Sky One, Sky Showcase closes and is removed.

Channel numbers are confirmed in TV Guide magazines from Tuesday.

Nonsense unless they're referring to the apps

It’s not a downgrade, but yes, there can’t be an excuse for keeping any channel off a device they want to phase out on the basis that the older technology can’t cope with it. Blatantly now, they are trying to create a situation whereby people change over their kit voluntarily as they have less to watch on it.

The V6 must be able to cope with it, as the TV360 software can run on the V6.

Some V6 boxes can run 360, others die out of self respect...

My virgin tv box hasn't updated since fri 20th morning. When I go into the system settings it shows that the info is up to fri 6 march. But terrestrial channels only show up to fri 27th Feb on to guide. Any ideas

The press release doesn’t mention V6, just TV360 and Stream.

However it does continually mention 1 million TV customers, and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be able to deliver to that number unless they included V6.

Withholding it won’t make me move over.
