Well I don’t think the rain is going to save Sri Lanka now, nine down in glorious sunshine.

l certainly did not expect England to win comfortably in one of the hardest places to win in.:D

Re: English Cricket

If they can’t win now there they never will. A poor Sri Lanka side in transition, nothing like the quality of players from the past ten, fifteen years. Top order still failing far to often. A good innings from Jennings but the Aussie pace bowlers will soon work him over.

Very hard to replace the spin king plus the several world class batsman they had of old.

He might not be picked for that series Jim.

Nice to see the Aussies getting another thrashing. Unlike last year, think I'm going to enjoy the cricket on BTSport this winter :)

Remember the Aussies never had any sympathy for us when we were getting hammered by them so they can't expect any in return.:D

Them Sri Lankans don't like it up them Capt. Mainwaring ! Shame really it's not really been a contest, they're a shadow of the team they used to be. Can't see the Windies in the New Year being much different, these countries make Test cricket low priority now, England supporters are vastly out numbering home support which is very sad in a way.

However the women's 20/20 world cup final against the Aussies tonight is something to look forward to :)

True Den, with 4 spinners we have at last learnt that side of the game. Not sure why we bothered with Broad...

Broady is there as one of the wise old heads Mr K which you need in a squad.

Shame about the ladies T20 final. The Aussies cheated, some of their players are definitely blokes....
