I'm surprised at you Andy! How could you say such a thing?

More is good in my opinion, but we do need more quality channels as well.

I'd take quality over quantity every time. If more means channels nobody really wants just so Virgin can say they've got over 200 channels then that's not what I want from them. As I said in another post Virgin have market leading products and market leading technologies. They don't need to join the race to the bottom, but it's beginning to look a bit like they think they do. And I think that's a shame.

Hardball can mean:

A) Virgin is willing to pay £Xm per month for NBC Universal HD channels (Universal HD and E! HD) but NBCU wants £Ym per month.

B) Virgin and NBC Universal cant come to an deal over launch dates, channel numbers or even how long the deal will last.

l personally think a deal is already signed and its just when they launch it and my view is Virgin being Virgin will do it at a time that suits them..

I got that impression. The rumour on DS stated that the HD channels would be added in the coming months.

Reading between the lines, it could possibly mean that a deal has been signed but the channels can't actually appear on VM until an exclusive deal with Sky expires. In which case, I wouldn't expect VM or NBC Universal to comment.

agree, whatever the reason i sure we will see it eventually.Still awaiting a email response from nbc universal.Probably say similar, but one suspects that a exclusive deal may be in place with sky hence the delay
