Why only Sky sports 1 and 2 HD... or do you think 3 and 4 follow automatically? Strange the specificaslly say 1 and 2 and not all Sky Sports HD when they do say ALL Sky basics HD and ALL Sky Movies HD.

Anyone shed any ligh on it?

This is such good news for VM viewers. Now there is no reason to move from Virgin to Sky.

Let's hope Sky Sports HD is for all 4 channels (3&4 are "bonus" channels).

It clearly states in the press release, and had been mentioned before that only Sky Sports HD1 and HD2 will be on Virgin, 3 and 4 will only be SD.

Sky have already announced that Champions League football will be shown on Sky Sports 2 & 4, clearly a decision made because of this new deal.

Damn it, i knew sky would move some of their best stuff to Sky sports HD 3+4 in order to not be viewed on virgin :(

so we just getting sky hd 1 and 2 sports channels what about 3 n 4 hd and we getting all the moves hd channels and have access to red button interactive sports . will have the channel in time for the start of the football ? look good to me :) hope there more to come like sky1 hd .

What did I say in the last thread regarding VoD content glad they worked that into the deal as well. All the Movie channels that is fantastic. Hope Spirts 3 & 4 follow sometime in the future.

With adding all the movie channels the figure of 20-30 HD channels should be more then possible now

agreed i more than likely wont pay extra for the HD channels anyway but will be getting sports added back again come end of july and we get the red button as thats the most important thing for me!
