Same as, although if the are doing it by account holder name then that begins with a W so i'd imagine it would be nearly last on the list. If it's something else then at least i know i'm not the only one left to do.

Does anyone know how it's actually being done? as in is it location or name or more of a hit and miss?

There is a post on the virginmedia.support.broadband.cable newsgroup, reproduced below asking to be informed of areas which should be completed and are'nt yet.I've added my two pennorth, maybe you would like to add yours.They want your ex ntl email address(the one you got on sign -up) and the area (Stafford in my case)

Guys,

Dont suppose you know when Gloucester will be updated!? I know Swindon should of been done by now, which is 30 minutes away!

I am in desperate need of this as my 4mb is painfully slow! :) :)

Do we know if the Traffic management will change if our speed is going up!?

Does anyone know what is happening in Watford?

On the even faster rollout plan it says Watford area is complete, but does that actually include Watford, or just Aylesbury and Amersham? Because I've reboot my modem a dozen times, very much still on 4MB :(

I have just been on the phone to CS and Tech support, the first two times I got through to the UK and spoke to two very nice people, when I talked to tech support they tried to put me on 10meg but the system refused to accept this.

I was then put on the 20meg tier and told to ring CS in five minutes and they would sort it out, that is where the Indian call centre came in to the equation, excuse me a moment, 3wkl;rvji2hhf %3rhfwuoiu quee u ueuuugfufu, thank you, now all hell has broken loose and I don't know what service I am on how much I am paying and am totaly confused, I have been told that Coventry has not been completed yet, I am now going to sit in the corner of a dark room.

Well dont know about anywhere else but from what it says in their newsgroup that is big problems with the roll out in edinburgh, although my m8 just popped round and happily told me he has been upgraded...:mad:

rebooted mine and nothing. rang CS last night and the lady said that it would be applied to the account without having to reboot the modem.
