login to ntl: Broadband Internet - Connection Speed Upgrade Unable to upgrade your connection speed We are sorry that your current package or connection speed is not appropriate for an online speed upgrade. Please call customer support on 0800 052 2000 for further assistance with changing your service level.

I get the above error when I try and upgrade my speed through that web site.

When you go through to the next section it tells you about the new speeds - if you don't know your password I guess you'll have to call them.

So are we meant to use the Cable Modem link even if we have a STB? If I click the STB then it tells me to phone them up.

What speed are you currently on and are you using a Set top Box or Stand alone cable modem to connect with?
