Just about to eat Aberdeen Angus stewing steak which has been braising on a low light for the last 8 hours with leeks, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic and a crumbled Black Pudding off Bury Market. The aroma has been driving us crazy for the last few hours and I can't wait. We have got a lovely Red wine already to pour and I have made John some old fashioned dumplings to mop up all the unctuous gravy.

Still finishing my chicken breast fillet bashed out thinly, coated in breadcrumbs then fried. Finished all the chips and beans earlier with a quarter of my chicken. Now munching away on the rest of it.

Roasted a nice, corn-fed chicken tonight with my special seasoning mix, a lemon and half of a large bulb of garlic inserted into strategic places.

Don't think I will be too popular at rehearsal tonight.

Had scampi tonight, but didn't cook it enough so had to put it back in. By which time my chips were cold as well, and they had to be re heated as well. Total disaster it was. Now having a slice of toast, as I am still hungry.

Just breaking a 2 day fast with Sweet black back bacon and a duck egg. Drinking just water for 48 hours almost feels worthwhile as the aroma of the bacon fills the kitchen. :)

nothing and very little as have been suffering from a bout of gastroenteritis since Christmas night - lost appetite altogether.........good for a spot of crash weight loss :D. both kids had it for a couple of days but had it like 4 days now and gettin us down with little sleep - plus a very grouchy 18 month and 4 half year olds.

Got something similiar myself, prawns make my stomach go crazy. Had a curry the other day and no-one told me it had prawns in it until I was violently ill. Now I can hardly keep anything down and on a strict diet of flat lemonade and dry toast to keep my stomach happy. As you say, good for a crash diet but wouldn't recommend it as a diet to do by choice.
