Also means the Queen can rack up another President. I think she'll have met 25% of all U.S Presidents ever.

Biden will be the 11th U.S President to visit the UK and Monachy during Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. Every consecutive president since Jimmy Carter has visited. Before that Nixon, Kennedy visited, Lyndon B Johnson who succeeded the presidency after president Kennedy’s assassination, and even after winning the presidency in his own right in 1964, never visited nor did Gerald Ford.

Yes although she did meet Ford in the U.S and Truman before she was Queen so she has met 13 Presidents if she meets Biden. So 28% of all U.S Presidents :D

Pentagon had said no to traditional armed forces farewell for Trump.

The Pentagon, in a break with recent tradition, will not host an Armed Forces Farewell tribute to President Donald Trump.

It’s a shame, but not a surprise. Trump will leave office in disgrace, one week after the House voted a second time for his impeachment, two weeks after his supporters staged a deadly siege in the Capitol Building, six months after he dragged his Joint Chiefs chairman into a political firestorm, and after four years of nonstop assaults on truth. One of those disgraces is how he is ghosting the U.S. troops that he commanded.

FBI vets 25,000 National Guard over fears of insider attack at Biden inauguration
Extra checks are being done to confirm there are no concerns over the thousands of personnel who will be protecting the event.

Guard members are also getting training on how to identify potential insider threats

How to identify a threat [man carrying flag- wearing a Trump 2020 hat- wearing a MAGA T-shirt-anyone with horns on head- anyone let handed] Hooah...

All that time worried about Islamic extremism; the real threat to the US is internal and from the far right. That the outgoing President is part that far right and encouraged a violent uprising is beyond belief.

They need a nice dose of calm from President Joe, all their guns taking away and some right wing nutters locking up. The rest, their bark is worse than their bite.

Then get on with the real issues facing the US, covid and climate change.

Far left behave worse, they trash cities and burn things down. Joe Biden will not resolve Covid Crisis. His mandating of mask wearing will be ignored by the masses and he hasn't got that authority to do a country wide mandate. Just like Trump was sued in the courts over various policies, it will only take one Federal Judge to block Biden's Executive order.

You cannot take away hundreds of millions of guns in one foul swoop, it's about 200 years too late, the right to bear arms is a cherished right over there. While Democrats may hold Congress and Senate and White House after tomorrow, the right to bear arms is a Constitutional Amendment and requires significant hurdles to change. First, super majorities in both chambers, House and Senate are required and then 38 States out of 50 would need to approve or ratify of any new change.
