Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is not a fault. It was not scheduled to be available on TiVo, The ticket is now closed.

I am doing my hardest for my wife to get Tivo, as l hear it is better than the Sky boxes ie Sky + and HD conent etc.

BUT is there really problems with Tivo,, On Sky there is never a problem with the Red Button, why is there a problem with Tivo on the Red Button

It's a joint decision. There is an agreed schedule of which events will have a red button. Neither company would want to launch something that wasn't ready.

So if the schedule is agreed are you saying they agreed to allow red button masters coverage on HD box but not on TiVo  If that's the case it's mental:td:

It's not at all 'mental'. The Liberate applications that run on the V-HD box were completed last year, but the TiVo versions are still in development. It would be 'mental' to prevent Liberate users from using the red button just because it isn't yet available on TiVo.

That's not what you said in your original post Spiderplant. You stated that it had been decided what events would and wouldn't be covered by red button, not that it was a technical issue. So it appears that TiVo is not capable of supporting this function that the old box can, progress? Aye very good:td:

I didn't say how the decision was made, though I did give a big clue with "Neither company would want to launch something that wasn't ready".
