Re: TiVo
If you opted out of marketing with VM, you may not get a ticket.

Re: TiVo
It's popular then, surely VM have have a big batch of TIVO boxes to meet the demand.

Re: TiVo
The problem Is I pre-registered and am a VIP50 customer and yet I have no ticket and no e-mail. on top of this I received this e-mail a couple of days ago and I just don't where I stand;

Re: TiVo
getting away from the fact some are lucky and some arent ... a more serious question that no one can answer but opinions would be welcome ....
i notice on the raffle ticket T&C's it says one year free tivo sub and after the year you then pay the then sub price if you keep the service .... so..... who thinks that along with sky increasing prices each year that VM/tivo may see this as a cash cow and start increasing the monthly sub year on year as they have made no comments on keeping the monthly sub at a low level IMHO i do actually see this happening and although it wont be huge increases each year and may take a couple of years to start but the sub will go up and up year on year |

Edited addition ... also i though the £3 sub was actually for the tivo service not just for VM :) |

Re: TiVo
is it possible that those that have registered an interest are automatically in the draw and don't need a ticket? - just a thought/hope

I'm sure your time will come. I didn't register (as wife not interested until third tuner is active) so your neighbour is one up on me. |

When we pre-registered it was stated in no uncertain terms we'd be "one of the first", yet people who didn't pre-register who therefore logically wouldn't be "one of the first" are getting it ahead of those that did. Using supply and demand is an explanation for a throttled roll out, it's NOT an explanation for why VM seems to be ignoring who actually pre-registered and just rolling out to whoever they feel like. |
