Thanks for the replies chaps. Much appreciated!

Another few TiVo questions, if you don't mind....

Does TiVo have Sky Movies On Demand in HD?

How about the rest of the Sky On Demand content?

I can't find the Virgin Media TiVo app in the Google Play Store, do they not have an Android app?

The TiVo app is called TV Anywhere and is definitely in the play store.

I don't think the Sky Movies stuff is HD but I could be wrong.

Thanks again chaps.

I've managed to find a direct play store link and the TiVo app isn't compatible with my phone (Nexus 6).

I use the Sky+ app a lot when I'm out of the house so that is probably a deal breaker unfortunately.

Ahhh, its probably due to it being a newer device, the app does get updated every now and then so will probably get a compatibility fix sometime.

Sometimes if you can get the apk you can get it installed and working.

I'm not entirely sure this is what Derekb was talking about but below is a YouTube link to the WWX2014 haxe conference where Todd Kulick (TiVo's chief development man) talks about the journey of TiVo from Flash to Haxe. It's nearly an hour long, Todd Kulick is no Steve Jobs and large chunks flew well over my head but I thoroughly recommend a watch (especially if you like this sort of thing).

Does anyone know if it is possible with a Wishlist to set it to record only episodes from a certain series? I am currently watching Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix, and am just about to begin Season 3. They only go up to Season 4, and as SKY 1 have just shown Season 5 I wanted to set a Wishlist to record any repeats of Season 5 on SKY 1.

If I remember correctly, you can set a whishlist for specific episode, but not for a specific season.

So you could a whishlist for season 5 ep1 and a whishlist for every other individual episode of season 5.

Again, going by memory, you can set them from the screen that gives you the full season and episode information of a series. I'm not in front of the Tivo so can't check.

Interesting slide at 20:42 - Shipping Haxe Tivo in "Summer 2014" .....

Looks to be very fast compared to the old Flash UI, but as we know that's been superseded by HTML5. Just thinking however, maybe Haxe is running under HTML5 ??

Yes, that's the HTML5 change as far as I'm aware.

It runs alongside it, rather than under it. Both were introduced at the last update, but there aren't many HTML5 apps yet

Virgin Sources has told us to "expect a new TIVO box towards the end of the year".
