A real moan from me - that I let someone annoy me and decide that it meant I needed a break from here - which meant I deprived you guys of my glory for the best part of 2 years.

Had the most crippling back pain since Monday night. It's below my kidneys, so not too worried. Had a really bad backache there about 7 years ago but after a year of suffering with it and being dosed up on codeine it went as suddenly as it appeared.

Hoping this is just like that.

Back still not better, taken some codeine about 5 minutes ago so let's see if that helps with the pain. I'm thinking it is muscular as I humped a few sacks of spuds about last weekend so thinking I've pulled a muscle there.

Our train journey took a hour and a half longer then it would do because of delays.:(

And I bet no apology given either den.

Codeine didn't help, if anything pain has now spread up the back to my kidneys so a visit tomorrow morning to the GP is beckoning I think.

I am on morphine tablets for my pain - they're pretty good :tu:

The staff on the delayed train were very nice and gave us free drinks.
