So BskyB are still adding new customers, still making huge profits, are investing in cutting edge set top box technology. Looks pretty good to me, good to see Sky evolving as it's target market evolves.
A bit like the mobile phone market, the payTV market is facing saturation. Not good for investors but great for consumers as payTV providers now need to start taking customers from each other not just relying on new sign ups. The same thing happened with fixed line broadband. Hence BT buying the champions league an EPL football then giving it to customers free. |
