Dune: Prophecy will air from 14th Nov 2024, and consists of 6 episodes.

Well it appears this was due to discussions about it moving to TNT.
Its now been confirmed it will air on TNT (home of the original series) in 2025.
Its also rumoured that TNT have ordered a second season.

A new Zorro series is currently being developed by CBS.

Revival is a new series coming to Syfy - apparently based on a comic series.
The series is set in a small town where many of the dead come back to life one day.

Amazon have ordered a spin-off of Reacher.
The show will be based around the character Neagley.
Atm, the show has no official title.

Amazon are making a 8 episode series based on Stephen Kings 'Carrie'.

Amazon are also making a series based on the 'God of War' Game (unrelated to the upcoming film).

The lead time for some of these streaming shows is quite insane, even allowing for the writers strike. It’s getting increasingly hard to imagine how US TV studios ever used to commission a series and then make 20+ episodes a year, every year, for 5 years or more. And as for the days when different parts of the Star Trek or Stargate franchise would overlap in production … well.

Good Omens Season 3 is not really going to be a season anymore.

Its been cut down to one 90 minute episode, apparently fallout from the allegations against creator Neil Gaiman.

From a book written in 1949 (read it many years ago), so probably one of the first "virus kills most of the population" books.

Just burnt through all six episodes (and I never/rarely "binge-watch" series).

Just as good as the excellent first season, never goes where you expect it to, great writing (with some mordant humour), and once again, the last thirty seconds throws everything up in the air…

Strongly recommend this series.
