People parking their ruddy cars in my garage block... why do they always park directly behind my garage door entrance.... dumb dumbs... yes people still use their garages to put their cars away... peed off writing polite letters and sticking them on their windscreens.

I think a need a proper sign made and placed at entrance to garage block.

Shoulder is also dodgy and painful at the moment, think it might be frozen. Couple of months ago I strained it cutting down some small trees at my mothers. Seems to have come back to visit me. Can't raise my right arm above that of a certain salute. :(

Sounds like you need a good massage therapist. You might be surprised at what they can do.

It's OK, you don't need to come all the way down here. The OH is quite a good masseur, a few minutes of his ministrations with the baby oil and I feel better already. ;)

It's more expensive than oil or other stuff

refills are so exorbitantly expensive that printer ink costs far more drop for drop than fine Champagne, vintage port or Chanel No 5 — a typical family running a busy printer can easily spend £200 a year on ink alone. But that, dear reader, is just the start of it.

If you think that you are getting through ink cartridges more quickly than ever, you are probably right. Over the past decade manufacturers have actually reduced the amount of ink inside them.

I honestly believe some people leave their brains behind when they get behind the wheel.

We have just had a one way system put in town because of the impending closure of the railway bridge going to the town centre. First during the roadworks to put the system in place, people were just trying to go around road closure signs which literally would see them bumping into roadworks and nowhere to go was a great start.

Now there is the One Way system in place, I saw 4 cars totally fail at noticing a big "One Way" sign and marker arrows on the ground as they went around the new islands in the road to go on what is now a One Way street. Brilliant work guys.

Salvation Army advert asking for a minimum of £19 donation by text message.

so all them thousands of people who wanted to donate something. can't because they don't want nothing smaller than £19 apparently.

charities today are a bloody joke.

The internets a marvelous place, anyone can go to
https://www.salvationarmyappeals.org.uk/site/Donation2?
and they'll see a fourth box that allows anyone to put in any amount they so desire..

Personally though what gets to me is when charities will not accept cash donations at their little stalls at supermarkets/shops/etc... Instead they only want you to sign up for direct debits.. I suppose that's come about due to a lot of people not carrying cash (like myself but often I do have a couple of quid that I would like to drop into a charity box)

Yes I know that. but the TV advert wants a minimum of £19 by text message. they don't want whatever you can afford or would like to give. they want a minimum of £19 or nothing.
